If you are using Creative Suite CS4 and move to a new computer or want to share settings such as workspace configurations it is not intuitive where they are saved. 

I cannot speak to OS X, but if you are using Vista they are located in the following locations:

Photoshop: C:\Users\[current user]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Adobe Photoshop CS4 Settings\

InDesign: C:\Users\[current user]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign\Version 6.0\en_US\

Dreamweaver: C:\Users\[current user]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4\en_US\Configuration\

Illustrator: C:\Users\[current user]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS4 Settings\en_US\

Flash: C:\Users\[current user]AppData\Local\Adobe\Flash CS4\en\Configuration\

Premier Pro: C:\Users\[current user]\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\4.0\

After Effects; C:\Users\[current user]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\After Effects\9.0\

SoundBooth: C:\Users\[current user]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Soundbooth\2.0\

Bridge: C:\Users\[current user]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge CS4

Note to Adobe - please standardize the location and create the ability to export/import settings.
